After years of living in original sin - coveting thy neighbors cow- we were given the opportunity to bring Tessie back home to Texas. Miss Tessie has always been one of my favorite cows, raised by our friends at Varner Farms in Texas and purchased from Pleasant Hill Longhorns in Kansas, and we're so excited to finally bring her into our program. We had one of her flashy daughters for a few years and she was an excellent producer for us. Thank you Dylan Pfizenmaier for thinking of us and offering this beautiful gal. Still producing gorgeous calves at 19 years old, Tessie gave us an incredible carbon copy heifer by Cowboy Chex that we're super excited about and a flashy black and white speckled heifer by Jest Command thats another keeper.
